What are 3D virtual worlds?

Also called MUVEs, 3D Virtual Worlds are online platforms where people interact in real time using a 3D graphical interface. Each participant is represented by an avatar. Content is largely created by the participants. 

Our club uses the Virtual World Campus (VWC)  on the Teen Second Life Grid. VWC is operated by FireSabre Consulting.
